Paljon tapahtunutta

Kouluun kuuluu viisi erillistä rakennusta, joista jokainen on erikoistunut tiettyihin aineisiin.

So much has appened after last post. We flew with other finnish and one estonian exchange students through Copenhagen to Singapore to get know each other and to get better from the jetlag. We spent there few days before we continued to Australia.

First shock was the climate: the first step outside the airport was the most warm and humid what I´ve experienced in my life outside sauna. Warm wasn´t warm, but WARM.
However the heat wasn´t a problem, when a group of youg people sterted their journey. We had usually freetime during the days and something nice program in the evenings. We spent freetime by exploring the city and lying near the pool. We visited the locak sights and enjoyed the food.
There were also lots of program. We visited the different ethnical areas, Night safari, the city centre and the Sentosa island. In the evening we either were tired, or not.
The group in Singapore was awesome and it was great to explore the city with them. Even if we had met each other few days before, it was hard to watch when every gruop one by one went to their own gate in the airport.

The flight from Singapore was long and though. In the airport were my friends hostfamilies, who took me to the right gate. In Hobart I had my own people to see.

What can I tell about Tasmania? The mornings are cold (+4 degrees), and houses follow the example (+12 degrees). Tasmania is a rough and beautiful place with friendly people, animals and cars driving on the wrong side.

To my hostfamily belong the parents, myself and three cats. The school is big (5 buildings) and I study there outdoor education, physical science, German, English communication and religion and philosophy. I´m gonna take part in two midyear exam and get every day new information about some projects. This week has been a quick one and the weekend was welcome.

Here´s everything so far. I don´t have any pictures from Tasmania, but from Singapore. They´ll come a bit later
